Minnesota’s physical and mental health professional-to-student ratios are among the worst in the country.

Given our expanding opportunity gaps and our students reporting deeply distressing physical and social-emotional needs, our public education system is in desperate need of more school counselors, licensed school nurses, school psychologists and school social workers.

Tell your legislators to support the provision in HF4300 that invests in student support personnel! This legislation would give districts dedicated funding to hire the student support personnel needed to meet recommended student-to-staff ratios so we can make sure every Minnesota student has access to the mental and physical health staff they need in school!
