Overcoming Racism Conference registration is OPEN and Early Bird pricing ends September 24 - just 12 more days! This conference fills fast, so don't procrastinate.

Check the registration page for registration cost and information to collect if you are registering a group.

Indigenous/native persons attend do not need to pay to attend (though we do ask that you register) and student ticket cost is low. Volunteers are assigned duties for 3-4 hours and attend for free. Those options are on the registration form.

Keynote speakers & performers for the 2019 Overcoming Racism conference: Joe Feagin & Winona LaDuke and Exposed Brick Theatre

On Friday we will hear from & interact with:

Winona LaDuke, Environmentalist, Political Activist, Founder and Co-Director of Honor the Earth, Founder of the White Earth Land Recovery Project. She has written extensively on Native American and environmental issues.

Joe Feagin, Ella C. McFadden and Distinguished Professor at Texas A&M University, does major research on systemic racism, classism, and sexism issues. He has published 70 scholarly books in these research areas, including The White Racial Frame

Saturday morning's plenary will be an adapted version of "American as Curry Pie" presented by Aamera Siddiqui of Exposed Brick Theatre who will also facilitate dialogue about the performance experience.
